LI HUI, the founder of CCHV, was 19 years old in 2000 and started his work at Fenghua High-tech company. At that time, a controller in the oversea-imported equipment worth more than 5 million RMB suddenly failed in Fenghua Hi-Tech factory. Since the equipment has just passed the warranty period, the manufacturer requested to be disassemble the whole set of the controller and sent back to Belgium for 10-month maintenance.

Except for the high maintenance costs, the 10-month downtime period directly caused serious delivery delays. Fenghua Hi-Tech organized technicians to check and repaired by themselves, and finally found that the cooling fan in the controller was broken.

At that moment, LI HUI was in charge of buying components, including cooling fans. He bought 20pcs fans from different brands. After several rounds of testing, the replacement fan can be installed to use. It seemed that the problem was easily solved, however, they didn’t run after assembly into the controller, which pretty puzzled LI HUI. Then, it turned out that the original fan had a specific waveform compatible with the controller, but the original fan manufacturer didn’t sell it externally. Under desperation, the whole controller had to be sent back to Belgium for repair. During this period of work experiences, LI HUI saw clearly the bottlenecks and shortcomings of the domestic cooling fan industry in China.

Founded in 2006

After visiting the fan factory in German, LI HUI re-confirmed his idea, he said: “The advanced level of the automation, intelligentization, mechanization in Germany factory, we still needs to struggle to catch up with 10 years.”

In 2006, CCHV (brand of Zhaoqing Shenghui, previously as CH) was established. In passed 17 years, CCHV has focusing on only one thing – “Cooling Fan Research and Manufacturing”.

LI HUI firmly said, “ CCHV gets innovations in each 3-4 years, however, before every innovation, there are certainly oppositions. Once I decide, I will stick on it. And it turned out that I was at the right direction. ”

Automatic Production in Dust-Free Workshop

In 2013, our sales volume reached 10 millons RMB from the start-up stage. LI HUI decided to invested several millions RMB on production automation. “The whole factory thought I was crazy”, LI HUI Said.

In 2015, CCHV successfully received national patents, “Cooling fan Automatic Robot Intelligent Production Line and Manufacturing Method” . “When we attended China International Industry Fair in Shanghai, CCHV was the only one to show the flexible production line at the fair.”, LI HUI proudly said. Two years latter, the early investment of automatic production line successfully returned, which also made CCHV as a leader in DC fans industry.

Increase Investment on R&D

BSH Award as Excellent Fan Supplier

From 2016 on, CCHV increased investment in R&D dept., including introduction of high-end talents, new molds development, testing equipments investment, ect.. Millions of RMB were spent on R&D dept. each year, but sales growth was slow, which made huge confidence chanllenge to LI HUI as well as his team.

The destiny changed in 2018. Good news came from BSH that CCHV was the only supplier out of four fan candidates who can pass their test by one time. The other suppliers that submitted the test samples with us at the same time are DC fans factories that cooperated with lots of domestic home appliances manufacturers.

Receiving the BSH’s approval and award, LI HUI regained his confidence when he started his business: there was no problem in the development direction of the company. Including the cooperation with Philips, CCHV has gradually knocked on the door of Fortune 500 companies in the world.

Further Production Automation at Scale

In 2019, CCHV has began to pursue efficient operation and lean production. In order to increase capacity and production space, LI HUI decided to disassemble old equipments worth millions of RMB which had not yet reached the depreciation period. “After old equipments are disassembled, the capacity increased by 50%, the space utilization increased by 30% and you can also leave a walkway for visitors.”, LI HUI said, “You can’t find an open space with more than five square meters in the whole plant, and every square meter is productive.”

New Manufacturing Plant Building

In 2021, we get 51697㎡ area for new plant to increase our capacity by 6 times, which was capped at the end of 2023 and will be put into use at the beginning of 2024.. Our blueprint to the new factory is as below:
